Vintage Martin Johnson Heade Brazilian Hummingbirds Playing Cards Set
This vintage Martin Johnson Heade Brazilian Hummingbirds playing cards set was produced in the 1980's. The set contains two bridge size decks that feature the 1864 Martin Johnson Heade paintings Brazilian Hummingbirds I on one deck and Brazilian Hummingbirds IV on the other deck. The decks each have a card with a brief description along with the name of the paintings donors.
The set was produced for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and comes in a red felt case stamped with the museum name and logo. The case has a few very slight marks from decades of storage, but the decks are factory sealed in new, never used condition. The set has been stored in a smoke free, pet free, climate controlled warehouse.
