Vintage George Washington's Pistol and Tower Pistol Foil Etch Two Print Set

Vintage George Washington's Pistol and Tower Pistol Foil Etch Two Print Set

$ 14.99

This "Antique Guns" foil-etch print portfolio was produced by Brown and Bigelow in the 1970's. The portfolio contains two foil-etch prints of two examples of antique arms that played a role in the American Revolution. The two flintlock pistols featured are the "Tower Pistol" and "George Washington's Pistol".

The Tower Pistol was named after the Tower of London where they were assembled and they were widely used by the British and by American Colonists.

George Washington's Pistol is one of a pair of silver-mounted flintlock pistols that was given to General Washington in 1778 by Thomas Turner.

The set also comes with an insert that tells the story of both flintlock pistols. The prints and insert's approximate dimensions are 10 inches wide x 8 inches high. They have been stored in a smoke free, pet free, climate controlled warehouse.

This Antique Guns print set is in new, never used  condition and is another one of the hundreds of thousands of vintage items we have in stock.
