This vintage Aerial Pioneers foil-etch print set was produced in the 1970's by Brown and Bigelow. The set contains four color foil etch Mayo Olmstead images that feature "firsts" in aviation history. The four prints are 10 inches wide x 8 inches high and titled in chronological order are:
The 1903 Wright Flyer, which was the first significant flight in history.
The 1909 Bleriot, which made the first flight across the English Channel.
The 1912 Avro Type F, which was the first airplane to have totally enclosed cockpit and a "skin" to reduce drag on the craft during flight.
The 1913 Curtiss Flying Boat, which was the first successful seaplane.
The prints have been stored in a climate controlled, smoke free, pet free warehouse. This Mayo Olmstead "Aerial Pioneers" foil etch print set is in new, never used condition and is another one of the hundreds of thousands of vintage items we have in stock.
