This vintage Archives Collection calendar was produced in 1979 by Brown and Bigelow. The calendar features 12 archival calendar images from the Brown and Bigelow calendar and art archives for the year 1923, which is a perfect calendar match for 1979 and 2018.
To date in 1979, none of the paintings in the calendar had been reproduced since the 1920's and each month features a different image from a different artist. The artists and paintings for the 12 months are as follows:
January - "Innocence" by Sir Joshua Reynolds
February - "The Pioneers" by Frank Tenney Johnson
March - "Betty" by Rolf Armstrong
April - "Dance Beneath the Trees" by Jean-Baptiste Camille
May - painting of a mother and child by an unknown artist in the 1920's
June - "Blazing the Trail" by Philip Goodwin
July - "The Runaway" by Norman Rockwell
August - "Sweet Summer Days" by an unknown artist in 1923
September - "Nawadaha" by Rudolph Ingerle
October - "King of the Field" by Percival Rosseau
November - "The Highway of All Nations" by Charles Robert Patterson
December - "In Old Venice" by Bonomici
The calendar's dimensions are approximately 11.25 inches wide x 16.75 inches high. The calendar can be reused in the years 2018 and 2029. The only things that may not match are the lunar cycle and the daylight savings change over. It has been stored in a smoke free, pet free, climate controlled warehouse.
This Brown and Bigelow Archives Collection calendar is in new, never used condition and is another one of the hundreds of thousands of vintage items we have in stock.
